In 2010 Newman’s Own Foundation donated over $NZ 155,000 which was shared between 11 charities throughout New Zealand.
The projects funded by the Foundation include the purchase of a new handyman van to help service elderly residents in Manukau, funding for a special Teen Beat Camp for teenagers with heart conditions in Auckland and the purchase of essential Kiwi breeding equipment to assist with the conservation program for New Zealand's national icon in Christchurch.
The 2010 funding brought the total amount donated to NZ charities by Newman’s Own Foundation to more than $NZ1.1million, made up of 99 individual grants.
Newman’s Own Foundation recently surpassed US$300 million in total worldwide charitable contributions.
